A very fine devo- tional and programme was given by Mrs. Larmer, Mrs, Bruce Mountjoy, Mrs. G. Skelding and Mrs. Ralph Lar- . mer, on Stewardship of Time and Mrs, Glenn Larmer gave a paper on Reasonable and Responsible Stewardship. President and - Secretary now presided and conducted the business. Mrs. Walter Wright reported on the Li- terature on Book shelf, also Mrs, Wright and Mrs. Harold Kyte gave reports of their unit meetings. Burketon News The Christmas tree harvest is almost complete here. Several carloads have been shipped out both by G.R. Kirk Co. and Charles Adam of Ohio. - Mr, Kirk of G.R. Kirk Co. arrived at the Burketon Freight yard with their Ontario Man- ager Mr. Russel Conrad on Tuesday morning. Several local men have assisted to load the trees in freight cars. Mr. Stanley Taylor has been making daily trips last week with truck loads of trees to be shipped from Graf- ton, Ontario. Commuting on Friday from Burketon to assist tree load- ing at Grafton, was Mr. Clif- ford Ramsay, : Mr. Stanley Riddell, Mr. Wallace Ramsay, and Mr. Stanley Taylor who was an overnight guest of Kirk and Co.
