Mrs. Mabel Cawker Con- venor of Stewardship and Re- cruiting called on Miss Aud- rey Kent to read the scrip- ture from 25th Chpt. of Mat- thew the theme being--Inas- much as you have done it unto one of the least of these, my brethren, Ye have done it unto me. Mrs. Caw- ker had prepared a splendid paper on Christian Steward- ship and its meaning. These parts were read by Mrs. Joy Hull -- Mrs. Dora Dowson -- Mrs. Eliza- beth Fulford -- Mrs. Mabel McMullen and Mrs. Doris ING WOMENS oT EVENTS Williams. Mabel then stress- ed the fact that a Christian does mot just function on Sunday but wherever he is-- every day -- every minute. That the church is import- ant -- that it is a friendly place where the lonely find friendship and the troubled find peace. It was stressed that'the world needs--Money to meet its appalling need-- Brains to tackle its problems --Love to heal its hurts-- and the concern of all -- for all. We all have something to offer and we all have 24 hours to offer it in. Each of us has some talent, how- ever small and we should in- vest some of it in His service. This was a splendid program and Mrs. Cawker is to be commended on this interest- ing- and thoughtful paper which must have taken much time to prepare.
