Hill Timely services were held. in both churches on Sunday morning when both ministers delivered very thought provoking sermons on Remembrance and' our responsibilities. On Saturday, November 1, Cartwright High School held their annual "Sadie Hawkins Dance". The costume was "Hillbilly Style." The Town Hall was fes- tively decorated with Jack o-lanterns, bats, owls and witches flying across dark skies. 'Entertainment was sup- plied by a group from Lindsay; '"The' Index of Reaction". Near the close of the dance lunch was served which consisted of pumpkin tarts with whip cream and apple cider. The dance was enjoyed by all.
