The bride is the daughter of Mrs. Myrtle Eade, Whitby, and -the groom the son of, Mr. and Mrs, Douglas Hillier, Port Perry. The church was decorated with standards of pink glad- ioli. The solists were Miss Debbie Griffen and Miss Nancy Warren, accompanied by the organist Mrs. Gloria Forder. Given in marriage by her brother Mr. Willis Eade, Oshawa, the bride wore. a floor length gown of white crepe trimmed with wide medallion lace and long flow- ing train. Her elbow length veil was styled in nylon tulle featuring a Juliet cap head- piece covered in the same lace as the gown. The male members of the wedding party were attired in white dinner jackets and black trousers. The reception was held at the church recreation centre. Mr. and Mrs. Hillier are now residing at 231 Water Street, Port Perry. bridal attendants all wore Tom Jones bow headpieces and carried cascades of soft pink miniature carnations. Mr. Gene More, friend of the groom acted as best man while Mr. George Lee, brother of the bride and Mr. Gary Coppins, friend of the groom ushered. The men were attired in black Mexican tuxedos. At the reception in the church basement the bride's mother received the guests wearing a. dress of turquoise nylon lace over taffeta with soft pink accessories and a corsage of pink rosebuds. She was, assisted by the groom's mother in a coral crimplene dress with navy accessories and a white orchid corsage. For a honeymoon trip to the east coast the bride chose a-mint-green-crimplene dress with cut out lace trim, yellow accessoriesand a yelloworchid corsage. Mr. and Mrs. Ted Murphy will reside in Oshawa.
