Mr. Baker was born on the home farm just west of Sunderland, now operated by his son Robert. He is the fifth generation to farm the land there. Mrs, Baker, the former © Lucille Archer, was the daughter of the late Dr. and Mrs. Robert Archer, Port Perry. They were married in Uxbridge by Rev. Frazer in the Presbyterian Manse.
