Made Electric Mower 25 Years Ago In the 'last couple of years, electric lawn mowers have become quite popular and have to some extent replaced the gasoline driven type. According to a news item in the Port Perry Star of 25 years-ago the first electric mower known of here was the property of the Village of Port Perry. It was made. by the late Mr. Len Leahy and first tried out cutting grass at known as the David Palmer Memorial Park.
