A general meeting of th Port Perry Figure Skatin Club was held at the Muni cipal Office on May 22nd at 8 p.m. Unfortunately only 20 members were present. Al report on activities during th year was given by the secretary, followed by the treasurer's report indicating a balance of $3134 in the bank but with one outstand- ing carnival bill which is hoped the June rummage sale will cover. A lengthy discussion on plans-and projects to insure the solvency of 'the club of the meeting. - Patch time, renting of costumes, the general running 'of the club was also discussed. The new president Mr. Al Smith - indicated 'he looked forward to the' coming year and warmly congratulated the executive and members on the enthusiasm and hard work which had resulted in another successful year.
