Parker and Herman Gray as Scouters to act as Assistant Cub Leaders for C Pack and- immediately following four boys, Douglas Masche; Dwayne Freeman; Paul Jones and Carl Durwood were invested-as Cubs. Thore assisting with the work were Cubmasters Charles Reesor and George Hall; Assistant Leaders Donna . Durwood: Paul -Saulinier; 'Clatide Parker and Herman Gray; Scouters Ricky Hall & Jim Murray. The fathers of the Cubs invested had the honour to present their sons with their Cub cap. Among the highlights of the evening festivities were several = surprise presenta- tions. . Mr. "Ed. Both Leaders for once in their lives were at a loss for words but managed to voice their sincere thanks & apprecjation for the.thought- ful recognition. Other awards 'were made when sixty 'badges and nine Stars were presented to -the Cubs by Akela, Ploughman & Chairman Mulholland. A- vote was taken and it was decided that the Cub Pack would plan for anather Family Night in November. C Pack is planning a trip to |" Ottawa. and thé Cubs were reminded to be at the Scot Hall this Friday at 5.30 a.m Appreciation was expresc- ed to all who participated in this event, and a-special cont" mendatio was' extended to the ladies in the kitchen, to the Patrol Leaders of -the Guides who so ably and cour- teously waited on the guests.
