Parker 325 Leaders and helpers of Cubs wish to give recogni: tion to Fred Fraser for his untiring work while he par- ticipated in the Cub move: mefit in Port Perry. Cub Activities Church were host to a nuim- ber of C Pack Cubs under the leadership of Paul Saul- nier to a memorial service in memory of Scout founder March, 1969. 'Rev. Black de- livered a very good sermon about Baden Powel. Paul Saulnier led the cubs in prayer and the cub promise, Ms. Donna . Durwood © par- aded the cubs in, During 1969 several lead- ers took courses to aid their teaching and to better un. derstand boys. All 3 packs have had hike and visited places of interest. In 1969 the 3 packs had hockey play offs for the Fred Fraser trophy. C Pack won this year. C Pack can thank their goalie Charles Durwood and fine play of Randy Craw- ford, Allan Waldinsperger, Robert Evans. In giving the trophy Mr. Fraser asked the boys to keep up the fine effort shown during hockey. On April 26th C pack cubs are holding a pot luck sup- Cafik M.P. will be there to present the cubs with their badges and stars. On May 2, 1969 C Pack as guest of Mr. Norman Cafik M.P. are go- ing to Ottawa for one day. On Sunday April 20 approx. 30 leaders from Blackstock to Cannington met in Port Perry to discuss future plans for the cubs enjoyment and a fun day in June will come up. More on this at a later date.
