We are represented in Juvenile, Mid- get, Bantam, Pee Wee, Nov- ice O.M.H.A. All Star and have 12 teams in House Lea- gue, plus 70 tyke players, who are graded and placed on a team and practice and play hockey every Sat. No House League 'teams will lose ice time because on tournaments scheduled on Saturdays. Maurice Jeffery who heads the allotting of ice time dept. will see that extra time is purchased in Christmas Holiday, - ete. to compensate for time lost. By the way Minor Hockey now rents 26 hrs. per week and last month paid the Port Perry Arena- over $700.00 & there is at least 4 months to go plus play-offs before the season ends. So remember everything we do is for the good of, and to promofe Minor Hockey in Port Perry. * 7s a On Friday the Beare Mo- tor's team played once again, this time in Uxbridge. The scoring was opened by Ux- bridge but the Chevs boun- ced back with four consecu- tive goals before the second period ended. Glen McCoy and Dave Bourgeois had two goals each. They along with Dale Bronson all re- turned from last year to form the 'number one line and are beginning to click as expected. In the third stanza Ux- bridge got another goal be- fore Gary Lefort and Steve Hillier made it 6-2 which was the final score. Ken 'Davidson and Wayne Dow- son shared the goaltending task and once again were sharp when necessary. The next home game is Wednesday the 18th against Pickering. Game time 7:30. Wackett scored 3 goals, Taylor & Kane 2 each and Norton got 1, : Mon, Dec. 9th the Novice All stars were defeated in| Oshawa 5-1, Gord Scott scored the. only Port Perry goal, " Friday Nite sees the Novice against Lindsay and the Pee Wees also play -- game 'time 7.45 and 9.00. + ee The Bantams weren't -too impressive in their game last Wednesday but still man- aged a 3-3 deadlock with Markham. It was the third and last time the Chevs meet Markham and they took 5 out of a possible 6.points to contribute to their hold on first place. Steve Tomchishin, Dave Bourgeois and Glen McCoy connected in the tie, House League Action Campbell outplayed Lefort 3-1 with marksmen being Jackson, Tomchishin and Wright. Johnston replied for Lefort. In the other Ban- tam game Stephens team was led by Skinner with 4 goals and Brain with 2 in a 6 - 2 'triumph over Gibson. Gib- son got scores from Hililer and Goode. In Pee Wee Cartwright ed, ged Jackson's Appliances 6-4. Judson and Mathison had 2 each with Crawford and Henke picking up singles. Saporozan (2), Bronson and Le fort counted for the los. ers. Co- chrane scored two while Cawker Lee and McQuade picked up the other tallies. Williams handed Cartwright their first loss 3-1.
