The Sunshine and Dep't. of Family Life Secretaries both reported cards sent. The meeting was closed with the Benediction by the Presi: dent, after which, the mem- bers worked for over an hour-on a quilt, for the bale, which had been prepared be- fore the meeting. A tasty lunch, prepared by Mrs. Green and Mrs. Hamilton was enjoyed by all. Cartwright High School ~ Students Entertain 'On' the evenings of March 14 and 15, Cartwright High School presented three one- act plays. Each of the three plays was presented by a High School House and on Friday evening the plays and actors were judged. The Ali Cats received the prize for the best play. The 'Best Actress was Lorraine Turner; the Best Actor was Jim Clement; the Best Sup- porting Actress was Linda McLaughlin; the Best Sup- porting Actor was John Lar- mer; and the Best Character Portrayal was Donna Swain. Nadia Schwartz and Gail Hart were chosen as the Best Play Directors. Refreshments were served and the evenings were en- joyd by all. - Mrs. Roy Avery and son Carlyle, Tillbury aré spend- ing the holidays with her mother Mrs. J. A. Johnston. Mr. and Mrs. Keith John- ston and girls, Millbrook were Monday dinner guests and all attended the funeral of Mr. John Rowland, Mill- brook, on Monday. Miss Edna Larmer spent the week-end at home and went to Toronto with Mr. & Mrs. Walt Larmer Monday for a visit. Sargeant and ~ Mrs. K.
