On Saturday .night they travelled to Newcastle where the Lumbermen out scored them by a 5-2 count. Dale McNenly and Mert McKee picked up Ports two tallies. Uxbridge Blackhawks were the visitors to Port Perry on Tuesday evening and after dropping a 4-3 decision last week in Uxbridge to the Flamingos the Hawks were out for revenge and revenge they got, wholloping the Flamingos 12-1. Uxbridge were in command throughout the game al- Flamingos In 6th Place though the locals had numer- ous near misses. Uxbridge led 2-0 in the first, picked up four more in the second for a6-0 lead be- fore John McMillan picked up Ports lone tally early in the third. The Hawks were quick to jump back on the bandwagon and picked up six more tall- ies before the final whistle. Gaylord Powless was the big gun for the Hawks, pick- ing up the hat trick.
