LADIES MONDAY NIGHT LEAGUE High Single-- ed up their second straight win on Tuesday night by dropping the new entry of Newcastle 5-2 in a non-excit- ing game. The Flamingo's drew first blood when Butler combined with Galley for number one, while Venning notched num- ber two from M. McMillan to lead 2-0 at the end of the first. Newcastle had a num- ber of chances in the first stanza, but Lorne Campbell in the nets for Port Perry was again in great form and got under way. The visitors ed to be trying too hard, consequently were over skat- ing their passes most of the night. They have some good hockey players on the team and could be more of a con- tender as the season rolls on. Owing to the bad weather the attendance was down considerably, but about 125 braved the cold, blustery weather to be on hand. Mr. Ross Luke was the lucky winner of the 50-50 draw. The Flamingo's will be at Ernie Willerton on Saturday. members of the Junior and Senior Football Teams jour- neyed to Toronto to watch the Argos - Hamilton game, which was greatly enjoyed by all.
