Mr. and Mrs. Rupert Byers Bowmanville were Saturday supper guests of Mr. & Mrs. Carl Wright. Mrs. Lorne Thompson is spending a few days with her mother Mrs. W. Cobbledick who is ill in Orono. Misses Shirley and Linda Sedgewick, Norwood spent the week-end with their sis- ter and brother-in-law Mr. and Mrs. Jim Byers. The bride's parents Mr. and Mrs. Clifford Sedgewick also Mr. and Mrs. Ronald Webster, Norwood attended the shower for Jim and Barbara Friday night. Mr. and Mrs. Robert Pais- ley were week-end guests and Mr .and Mrs. Russell Root were Sunday guests of Mr. and Mrs. Gordon Paisley and children. Both couples are . from Dunnville. Following are some young people we missed reporting on earlier -- Miss Margaret Carnaghan is attending the Samshawe College in London. Donald Bradburn is manag- ing a stock room in Eaton's Toronto. Ivan Bradburn is training for a Junior Test Laboratory officer & inspect- or at Lake Ontario Steel Co., Whitby. If there are any others we have missed please let me know. (Olga Hill) Mr.. and. Mrs. Tim Bates, Elmvale, visited Mr. and Mrs. Harold Martyn Saturday. Mrs. J. Hedge, Oshawa spent Thursday with Mr. and Mrs. Lloyd Beacock and boys. Sunday the Beacocks visited relatives in Toronto. Mrs. Art Ruston and boys, Port Credit visited her mo- ther Mrs. R. Ford Sunday. A meeting of Plot owners and Board of Management of Cartwright Union Cemetery was held in the Chapel Satur- day, Oct. 21st, 1967. Plans are in future to watch for a Comedy show in Toronto. We can all do with a laugh. Was a little late to plan to have a trip to see colouring of the leaves as of other years.
