Her headdress, petals decor- ated with lace and pearls, scalloped bouffant veil. ~The bride carried a bouquet of Johanna Hill ros- es centred in fern, Miss Betty Louise Medd, only sister of the bride, was maid of honour. The brides- maids were Mrs. Leonard Coates, sister of the groom, Sunderland, Miss Darlene Christie, Epsom and Miss Sherillyn Law, Whitby, friends of the bride. These attendants carried bouquets of Shasta Mums. The sleeveless gowns, identi- cal in styling, were floor length nylon chiffon over taf- feta, featuring a princess waistline, scoop neckline, and bow at the back. The maid of honour wore maize, the bridesmaids were dressed in pale green. The floor length maize gowns of the flower girls, Miss Deborah Marie Medd, Blackstock and Miss Valerie Lynn = Medd, Epsom, had scoop necklines, short sleeves and featured the back bow.
