It is too complicated to ex- plain in detail how the me- thod functions, but on this page are three pictures taken of the recently purchased equipment and in the stages they are operated. P. Hvidsten, publisher of the Star is seen in the top picture scanning a page size negative photographed by a camera. Wm. Harrison, editor is seen checking the negative for flaws or "pin holes", and this will be corrected by what is in the trade language called "opaquing".
