12 - PORT PERRY STAR -- Thursday, April 27th, 1967 Senior Citizens Club The Club held its twice mon: thly meeting at the Hall on Wednesday, April 12th. Fifty five members answered the Roll Call. After usual procedure, Mrs. M. Cullen presided. We are sorry to report.many are still on the sick list. We were pleased to welcome Mrs. H. Mackey as a new member to our Club. Citizens Prayer was sung and Lord's Prayer in Uni- son, Different committees were called on to give their reports. Several of our members were welcomed home after their stay in Florida. There are still several in the South yet and we hope to soon see them back again. Our Euchres are still progressing favourably. Brook- lin has organized a Club there, Good luck to them all. We hope to have some fut. ure plans interesting to our members at a later date. We like to keep up the social side of the Club. After business was discussed many played cards, The usual nice lunch was ser: ved. This month April group has three Saturdays to prepare lunch for our Euchres. Next will be Saturday, April 29th at 8.30 p.m. at Hall. Next meeting this Wed. at 2.00 p.m, April 26th. Will --members- please -keep-in-mind; that these meetings are held second and fourth Wednesday of every month (baring July & August) when meetings discon- tinue for holidays. Euchres are (all year) every other Saturday. "Last"Euchre, April 15th there were 18 tables set up, which is very encouraging to members. The lucky winners as follows-- High lady Mrs. A.
