Prospect News - The March meeting of the U.C.W. met at the home of Mrs. Lloyd Smith, with a good at- tendance, including several vi- sitors. Mrs. Byron Holtby con- ducted the devotions, opening with a verse and the hymn "Be- neath the Cross of Jesus", fol- unison. She read the Scripture lesson. A reading, "The Mean- ing of the Cross" was given by Mrs. Smith. We were favored with two musical numbers. Dale Smith sang "Edelweiss", accom- panied on the piano by Irwin. He continued with a piano solo "They All call it Canada". The president. Mrs. Clare Vernon, chaired the bySiness session. Mr. Donald Holtby spent a week-end in Ottawa recently, along with other students from Uxbridge High School.
