The first significant under- taking was a dance held during the holdiays at the Port Perry Anglican Parish Hall. The dance was well attended & en- joyed, patricularly by a number of Blackstock Hi-C members, the United Church's youth or- ganization. The music was live- ly and up to date, provided by Don McCaig and Tim Brunton. Credit for the success of this dance goes to the committees of Judy Felstead and of Robert Mansfield who were responsible for the preparation, decoration and entertainment at the dance. We wish to- thank, again the adult couples who came to chaperon, and it would appear, enjoyed themselves as well. Last Sunday 15th, was the 1st meeting of the new year, held in Blackstock. The programme included a toboggan party, fol- lowed by a weiner roast and ce's committee. It was quite evident that everyone had ex- pended their energy climbing uphill so often, when some six dozen hot dogs disappeared be- fore they were hardly set out. Perfect was the only word to describe the weather, although was organized by Tom Lawren-} Anglican Young People Outdoor Fun everyone was quite wet and the hot chocolate was greatly ap- preciated. At this get together, the exe- cutive held a meeting to plan future activities. It was decid- ed as a missionary project, to support the St. John's House in downtown Toronto.
