Mr. Bill Anderson and Mr. Ray .Rogers. Munro presented the happy couple with a Gossip Bend and a smoke stand. Doug and Jean thanked everyone for their kindness. Then all enjoyed lunch and another social hour. Mr. and Mrs. Harry Bolton receive a beautiful gift last Monday morning. The gift was a big one and weighed over nine pounds, a bouncing baby boy. Their fondest dreams come true. Our heartiest con- gratulations. The Christmas Euchre and dance and Epsom Community Club was also a gala affair. The Euchre prize winners were Ladies 1--Irene Houghland; 2 Betty Risebrough; low Ruby Gentlemen 1st--Albert "sr Timms; 2nd -- Norm Gimblett; low--Clarence Masters, Door Prizes went to Jim Evans and Erma Watson, There were other prizes too numerous to mention. The new Executive will start work this Friday evening, Dec. 16th, The new president is Mr. Lloyd Brawn, with Mr. David Prentice second in com- mand. _We wish them much success In the coming year. Mrs. Rogers and Mr. Birkett played for the Dance and Mr. D. Prentice was the caller. Thanks to all who in any way contributed to the very success- ful year just ended. The Epsom UC.W. held their annual business meeting Wed., Dec. 7th.
