The Brooklin .Spring Fair Board held its Ladies' Night at the Odd-Fellows' Hall in Brook- lin. Mr. Fair, our Area Agri- cultural Representative spoke on the trip he, his Wife and four Junior Farmers took to visit several farms of other countries. He showed interest- ing slides of the farms in Eng- land, Scotland, Ireland, Ger- many & Denmark. Everyone will be yearning to visit far away places. The evening started with "a real nice turkey dinner and ended with music for dancing by the very able John Horner and his son. Everyone enjoyed Round & Square Dancing till the night was over. If anyone didn't, attend the: Banquet, they must have had other com- mitments, for the pleasant ev- ening the Committee had plan- ed and the persuasive charm of the ticket sellers were ex- tremely hard to turn down. One of the entertainers in his group was an 11 year old boy who won the Fiddlers' Competition at Shelburn. We were all' tapping our feet in time with the lively music and everyone was in a bouncing mood by the time the dancing started.
