District Com- missioner Mrs, Harold Kyte, Cadets Judy Cochrane and Nancy Dorrell and Scout Brian Mountjoy were the readers. Rev. Philip Romeril introduced the Gold Cord Guides--namely Judy Mountjoy and Joan Hor- ton and gave a brief address. The Gold Cords were present- ed and tied by Division Com- missioner Mrs. F. Hamilton. In the evening the choir from Kedron ren- dered two very fine anthems. In St. John's Church Rev. R. C. Rose gave a very thought- provoking sermon on "Remem- bering" and appropriate hymns were sung. The Sacrament of Holy Communion was adminis- tered. ; Sunday afternoon a - joint meeting of the advisory boards of Port Perry and Blackstock Anglican Churches was held to discuss the goals for givings to St. John's House, Toronto, 'the Arctic and Overseas. The Cartwright "Casseroles" on Nov. 2nd, at Mrs. Larmers. and the 4-H pledge repeated. Leaders, Mrs. Larmer and Mrs. Wotten discussed with us _"Ve- getables All Year Round"'-- Canned Vegetables and Home Processed Vegetables. It was decided to make plans for the "Achievement Day" and to have a supper meeting on Thursday, Nov. 10th. The meeting was adjourned.
