The November meeting was held in the Church Parlour on | Wed. the 2nd at 2 p.m. with Mrs. Phair at the piano. Mrs. Guy opened the meeting with hymn 157 followed with the theme, Mrs. Baird offered a short prayer, Mrs. Robert Leask favored with a lovely solo "Trust and Obey", The Ten Commandments were read alternately in Unison. Mrs. Pearson read the Scripture from the 20th Chapter of Exo- dus. The collection was re- ceived and dedicated. A chap- ter from the new Study Book "The Church Grows in Canada" was dealt with by Mrs. Guy. Singing of hymn 363 closed the worship service. Mrs. Harper presided for the business session welcoming the ladies. and thanking the. group in charge. Minutes were -ad- opted as read by Mrs. Spencer. $156.26 reported in the Treas-|. ury. 20 members answered the roll call. Special prayer was offered for several United Church Missionaries in foreign fields. Several Ladies express- ed a desire to accept an invita- tion to the Uxbridge U.C.W. Xmas meeting on Dec. 1st. The amount of a donation to Hill crest Lodge to be decided later. Mrs. H. McMillan stated the bale was to be sent on Friday. Fewer articles were donated this time as the Spring bale was a major effort.
