Most of us are sorry to see summer go so quickly, but seasons come and go, but there is always something to look forward to in this busy world. A bus load will be leaving Port Perry at 7 a.m. on Tuesday, Aug. 30th, as many of us will be attending the Senior Citizens Convention at Ottawa. We will be staying at Carleton Univer- sity there, occupying rooms students use while attending to their studies. Mr. R. St. John and Mr. H, Buckland are the two delegates chosen by our Club 'ahd they -will "leave a day earlier, but come back on the bus as we return home next day. We are looking forward to this happy get together, where so many Clubs from Ontario will meet together and present their prob- lems to so many interested Citi- zens, "The next Euchre will be Satur- day, Sept. 3rd at the Hall at 8.30 p.m. Everyone welcome, prizes, and lunch served.
