The Ganaraska River Conservation Authority have done good work by leaving much of the river bank unspoiled while still hav- ing several nice parks. Their Historical Society is quite alive too. We were shown many fine old homes built well over 100 yrs ago as well as the home of former Gov. Gen. Massey, the Joseph Scrivens cottage, Trini- ty College, ete. A short stop was made at the small St, Mark's Anglican Church which had been completely restored by the society. We got some thrills as the bus swooped up hill and down dale and eased around turns which made Seagrave's Catastrophe Corners look like gentle curves. .On returning to the Recreation Centre the Sea. gravers treated? the members to a short program, afternoon tea was served and we headed for home. Our connecting links with Port Hope are Mr. & Mrs, Thos, Dale and fine links they are, Arrangements at-this end were by Mrs. Eagleson and Mrs, G. Stone.
