Edgar Smith, son of Mr, and Mrs. Wm. T. Smith of Pickering. Rev. D. J. Fox of Long Branch officiated at the double ring ceremony. He was assist« ed by Rev. A. Houston of Wick, The wedding music was play- ed by Mrs. Almer Wallace of Port Perry. Miss Marysia Keilan, maid of honour, Miss Joyce Fox and Miss Levina Hogan, bridesmaids all of Toronto wore identical floor length turquoise gowns of lace and chiffon over taffeta, with matching headpieces. They carried semi-cascades of. pink and white carnations. Each wore a single strand of pearls, gifts of the bride. "The groom was attended by, Mr. Ronald Trantor of Oakville. The ushers were Dr. David Milne of Peterborough, cousin of the bride, and Mr. David Smith, brother of the groom. The reception was held in the school-room of the church where the bride's mother received wearing a suit of beige and brown linen, beige hat & brown accessories, Her corsage was of bronze and yellow mums. The groom's mother assisted wearing a: turquoise shantung silk: dress with matching coat and white accessories. Her corsage was of white 'mums. For travelling the bride chose a beige linen suit with black accessories and a bronze orchid corsage. The happy couple will live in Toronto.
