SWEETHEARTS Tiny and Pee-Wee just grew up together, Although they were really not birds of a feather, Tiny was gosling of gander reflex, And Pee-Wee a duckling of ' opposite sex, But in springtime and summer they grew up as chums, As nearly alike as a person's two thumbs. When winter arrived with cold weather increase, We put tiny in quarters prepared for the geese, And to make matters right accordingly then, We established our Pee-Wee within the duck pen. In due time the snow came to cover the earth, And the two old chums still grew for all they were worth, " The spring came at last with its sun melted ice, So we let out our fowls when * the weather was nice, Pee-Wee with the ducks went strolling around, Searching for seeds that remained above ground. The warm winds blew gently and birds flew above, And Tiny developed a notion for love. There sufely is something atténdent with fate, iny remembered his old childhood mate, And while on the spring grass he wandered to brouse, He found his dear Pee-Wee just back of the house Now he was so happy to see He sang gander songs in a sweetheart refrain, a: 7 A '% ~~ '- CA SSS ya Well Pee-Wee was happy as Xn happy could be, 4 But wondered why Tiny had A grown like a tree. i 4 "She loved her old chum as a matter of choice, And pondered what made such a change in his voice, When Tiny would honk to declare his good health, Poor Pee-Wee just wished he would talk to himself, %: = SN A ar _-- 2, Thus Pee-Wee and Tiny are chumming along, In love with each other and singing love's song.
