During the intermission Su- san and Ricky Bolen sang two Irish duets, Later Ricky Bolan entertained the enthusiastic au- dience with a harmonica solo. * Gifts were presented to Mrs. Dorothy Lee by Debbie Prosser, td Mrs. Inglis and Ricky Bolan by Leanne Fisher; to Susan Bo- lan by Jamie Rose. The door prize, of potted | spring flowers was won by Ric- kie Bolan. Mr. & Mrs. Les. Gibson, Tor- onto, called on Mr. and Mrs, J. A. Johnston and Mrs. Scott on Tuesday. Mr. and Mrs. Murray Byers, attended the College Royal at | Kemptville Wdnesday and Mr. and Mrs, Chas. Smith spent the day with their daughter Mrs, Jim Pennell. Mr. and Mrs. Frank Hill, Laura, Sask, visited Mr. and Mrs. Walter Lawrence last week and all visited friends in Fene- lon Falls over the week-end. Mr. and Mrs. J. K. Noble, Ux- bridge were Sunday guests of Mr. and Mrs, Arnold Taylor and girls, Mrs. P, Romeril attended a meeting of Christian Education Committees for Bay of Quinte Conference at House of Four Seasons, Rice Lake, Friday and Saturday forenoon. Sorry to report Mrs. Harold McLaughlin in Port Perry hos- pital with rheumatic fever, but glad to report some improve- ment. Mr. and Mrs. Glenn Larmer, Douglas and Craig spent the week-end with relatives in the St. Mary's area. Mr. and Mrs. Geo. Downey and Mrs. L. Pearce, Oshawa, were Saturday afternoon callers and Mr. and Mrs, Fred Craw- ford, Miss Mary Lou Crawford and Mr. Geo. Carnochan, Port Prery; Mr. and Mrs. Harold Crawford, Janice and Kenneth were supper guests of Mr. and Mrs, W. J. Pearce and Mrs, Geo. Crawford in honour of Mrs. Crawford's birthday. Mr, and Mrs. Peter Vander- huel, Orillia, spent the week-end with the Cecil Gibsons and the Hermanus Vanderhuels. Mr. and Mrs. Eric Barr and Miss Beverley Sinclair, Bramp- ton; Miss Beth Strong and Mr. Jrry Ferguson, Toronto spent the week-end with Mr. and Mrs, Gordon Strong, | Mr. and Mrs, Walter Manning : and three children, Woodford, | were week-end guests of the Bruce Mountjoys. Miss Doreen Van Camp and Miss Mary Bradburn, Toronto; Miss Janice Byers, Guelph; Mr. Jim Byers, Kemptville spent the week-end at their respective homes. Mr. and Mrs, Ernest Hale and two grandchildren of Sutton; Mr. and Mrs. William Little and son, Stoney Creek, were Sunday guests of Mr. and Mrs. Jack Rahm, Mr, and Mrs. Allan Raham and family, Port Perry and Mr, and Mrs. Orr Venning, Cadmus also called on the Ra- hms Sunday. Mrs. W. Cobbledick, Orono and her sister-in-law Mrs. W, Y. Powers, Vancouver, spent and Mrs. Lorne Thompson, Mr, and Mrs. Osmond Wright; Mrs. Albert Wright and Mrs. Percy Van Camp attended the funeral of a niece in Midland Thursday. Mr. and Mrs, Frank Cook, Beaverton were Thursday guests and Mr, and Mrs. Elmer Archer, Whitby, Saturday guests with Mr. and Mrs, Wilbert Archer. Mr. and Mrs. Jack La Saux had a very enjoyable Saturday | evening in the celebrating of | th I= oghter Jeannie Carol- ine' first birthday. Guests were close relatives, Mr. and Mrs. Jack La Saux and daughter are pleased to have his grand mother, who is 87 years old and an aunt from Montreal for two week's visit. Sunday supper guests of Mrs, Cecil Hill were Rev. and Mrs. C. H. Ferguson, Don Mills; Mr, Roy Ferguson; Mr. and Mrs. Stan Rahm and Miss Carol Thursday and Friday with Mr. Rahm. TOP .
