Messrs. E. Ken- nedy; Hans Kraupa and Ben Pickard filled in as fathers for the three older sons of Gerald Bent, George Parry and George Hall. At the head table, Mr. Ed. Mulholland, Vice-Chairman of the Group Committee acted as Chairman for the evening. Also at head table were Mr. & Mrs. Jack Jelbert, Provincial Com- missioner of Lakeland Region; Rev. H. M. Buntain and his wife; Mr. Stan Ploughman, Cub. master and Mrs. Ploughman; and Mrs. Eleanor Moore, As- sistant Cubmaster. Her hus- band, Mr, Allan Moore was seated with their son Robert. Leaders Jim McMaster; Don Waldinsberger; John Cooper were seated at other tables. Un- able to be present was Ivan Lytle. The joint efforts of Scout Mothers and Guide Mothers Auxiliaries resulted in a delect- able dinner. Following the introduction of guests, Chairman Mulholland expressed thanks to the mem- bers of his Committee for a job well done in contacting all the fathers, setting up of tables, etc. The ladies who had pre- pared and served the banquet were also tendered much appre. ciation.
