Mr. W. Vance and Mr. L. Beacock extended a welcome as the friends entered the sanc- tuary which was decorated with LL colorful floral arrangements. It was a privilege to have Miss W. Bridges from the Co- lumbus charge present a worth- while message. Guest artist Mr. F. Densham rendered two pleasing solos. The twenty- member choir exercised their voices in fine style with the able assistance of Mr. D. Milne. Those present were favoured by another musical note when the following foursome, Mrs. A. Rice at the piano, Mrs. G. Hun- ter at the organ, Miss K. Rice and Mr. B. Snelgrove each with violin renderd a couple of mu- sical numbers which were high- | ly enjoyed. Offering gathered! by Messrs. Results were: Oliver Hod- ges 27; Pames Edward Rundle 4; Michael Starr 61; Claude Vi- pond 38. Six voted at the ad- vance poll. There were no spoiled ballots. Sam Parm has sold his house on the Oshawa Road and is moving to near Churchill in the Barrie area on Friday. Lorne Martyn has bought a house at Utica and is moving this week. Miss Arrianne den Boer who is attending Calvin College at Grand Rapids, Michigan, was at her home for the week-end. George Kilpatrick visited his cousins the Misses Clara, Edith and Laura Brown in Toronto last Wednesday. Master Larry Larocque cele- brated his fourth birthday last Saturday.
