Little Mar- garet Ethel is so tiny she will spend some time in an Edmon- ton hospital, 70 mi. from her home. Several ladies from the Head attended the toy demon- stration on Thurs. evening at Beryl Pearce's. It was found to be quite different from last year's. The whole evening was very pleasant in mingling with former friends and the lunch by flash light due to a black- out." After the fine season with the Legion Squirts as man ager and also with the 0.A.S.A. convenor job which he enjoys, he feels he should be doing the job he knows and likes best. Also the Squirf Appreciation Night which will .be held on Tues., Oct. 26th at the Legion hall was mentioned and all exe- cutive members were urged to attend. It is hoped the people of Port Perry will turn out to this big night for this great ball team. New president Bill Harper conducted the meeting for the new business and he thanked the members for their support and hoped all executive mem- bers would join together to work for the betterment of soft- ball.
