Members Of Hospital Auxiliary Plan Trip To N. Y. World Fair The last meeting of the Hos- | pital Auxiliary on Monday, May 17th was again well-attended, including several new members who were warmly welcomed by President, Mrs. M. B. Dymond. The meeting opened with a special prayer by Mrs. M, B. Dymond, including a prayer of intercession for Mrs. Evelyn Baker, who is gravely ill in St. Margaret's Hospital. Mrs. B. L. Wanamaker read the minutes of the last meeting and Mrs. D. Crozier gave the treasurer's report. Owing to the success of the Hospital Day Tea, the bank balane is almost $600.00. Due to the probability of a new hospital being built in Port Perry, it has been decided to postpone acquisition of port- able X-Ray equipment until the new building is established, It was also decided to hold back distribution of place mats until such time as fund raising for | the new building is under way. Mrs. Dymond attended the regional meeting in Lindsay on May 7th and reported an inter- esting discussion of the teen- age project (candy stripers) but no new approaches to the problem of fund raising.
