They then went to York Uni- versity where the tours guided by the students were greatly enjoyed. Immediately afterwards the girls were ushered into Lieutenant-Governor Earl Rowe's suite in the Parliament Buildings. They enjoyed tea with the Lieutenant-Governor and were escorted around his suite to look at portraits of Ontario's former Lieutenant-Governors. A buffet supper was served in the auditorium of a church nearby. In the evening Miss E. Henrietta Osler, Chief Commissioner for Canada, presented the girls with their Gold Cord Certificates in an im- pressive ceremony at the Flora McRae Eaton Build- ing next to Timothy Eaton Memorial Church.
