FELASPRNN LAUNCH CN FL VIARIR OS 1) WEA RECS WANRATR XX U6 FRA, POON GA ANAL Thursday, April 8th, 1965 Increase In Unwed Mothers Of Great Concern To C.A.S. The dramatic increase in un- wed mothers (over 111% since 1960) seeking assistance from the Children's Aid Society of Outario County and the City of Oshawa has prompted the So- ciety to plan its Annual Meet- ing around this problem. In 1964, 148 unmarried mothers made use of the services, avail- able through the Children's Aid Society, to help them plan for their babies and for themselves. These mothers ranged in age from 14 to 42 years. They came from all walks of life and from all strata of society. Thirty-three of them were stu- dents. A panel discussion of the problems associated with out- of-wedlock families will be fea- tured at the Children's Aid So- ciety Amnyal Meeting at- St. Gregory's Auditorium in Osh- awa. The date is April 29th and the time 8,00 p.m. N Moderating the panel will be Judge Terry Moore, Q.C., of WHitby who recently became a Family and Juvenile Court Judge for Metropolitan Toronto. Panelists will be: Sister St. Au- gustine, Superintendent of Ro- salie Hall, a maternity home for unmarried mothers in Toronto; Mr. Angus Dixon, Principal of O'Neill Collegiate; Mr. Cyril Greenland, Social Work Ad- viser, Ontario Department of Health; Dr. R.
