"Further to your letter of 4th February, 1965, we attach a copy of our letter to Mr. R. Grant, Municipal Accounting Advisor of the Department of Municipal Affairs, with which we included an application for a commitment for a loan on your behalf, a further copy of which is attached. We have utilized the cost es- timates in the current draft Sewerage Report, and submitt- -ed-the draft-applieation-to Mr. Grant so that he might review it before the formal Resolution of Council is passed making the application, In this connection we would very much like to arrange a meeting with , Council in the near future so that the Sever- age Report may be discussed again in detail, and adopted by Council so that the other formal 'applications may be made. In order for the Village to benefit as much as possible from the Works Assistance Programme and the funds available for re- allocation, the project should be initiated in the reasonably near future. J. Gibson's home. This hole is a good foot in depth and about a foot wide. On hitting this trench, I blew a tire and bent the rim so that it is not repairable; causing the front end to go out of alignment. There are, no signs indicating that there was such a bad hole in the road. This hole has been there for quite a time accord- ing to the Baker family. Par- kinson, seconded by Bruce F. Beare, that a by-law be passed to authorize the Reeve and Clerk of the Corporation of Port Perry to sign a certain Fire Agreement with the Town- ship of Scugog dated the 4th Day of March, 1965. The proposed by-law was read three times, passed, sign- ed and the Seal of the Corpora- tion affixed thereto. The Clerk was instructed to send copies of the said agree- ment to the Township of Scu- gog for their endorsement. The ordering of a Homelite ery Co. was discussed. The Clerk was instructed to order the pump and hose as authorized by Resolution of I'ebruary 9th, 1965.
