. Father And Son Banquet Held In Prince Albert The annual Father and Son|by Herb Toombs. Murray Banquet of the First Scugog Pack of Cubs and Scouts was held in the basement of Prince Albert United Church on Satur- day, February 20. This pack is made up of 10 Scouts and 26 Cubs. - More. than 60 sat down to a delicious turkey dinner pre- pared and served by the mem- bers of the Scout and Cub Mo- thers' Auxiliary. Leslie Smith, chairman of the Group Com- mittee, acted as master of cere- monies and introduced Rev. A. G. Rice, who heartily 'welcomed everyone to Prince Albert Church, Rev. ©, C. Gilbert, Chaplain of First Scugog Pack, as well as the Scout and Cub leaders. Scout Denis Symes proposed a toast to the fathers, after which his father, George Symes, made a suitable reply. Mrs. Allen Martyn, Akela for the Cubs, spoke about Lord Baden-Powell and told one of the many stories he used in his _work. _ Scout _ Walter_.
