The results of the Bazaar were read and the President thanked all those who in any way had help- ed to make the Bazaar a real success. Plans were made for our December Meeting which is a Pot Luck Supper. Each mem- ber is to bring a friend and a gift for the Christmas Eix- change. The Christmas Party for the children of the Parish was discussed and it was de- cided to have it on Sunday, Dec. 20th at 2 p.m. Our new Director, Father Beck then gave a short talk and the meeting was adjourned. A lovely salad lunch was served by Mrs. Pat Donnelly and Miss Marg. Har- Tison, The holders of winning tick- ets at the Bazaar were as fol- lows: Quilt--Irwin Jewell, Port Perry Set of T.V. Trays--J. Candlesticks--Irene Whitfield Greenbank® Afternoon U.C.W. The November Meeting was held in the ,Church Parlour on the 4th at 2 p.m. Mrs. Ander- son read verses suitable for the occasion. 'Mrs. McMillan led in Prayer. Mrs. Harris presided and the meeting opened with Hymn 54. Mrs. Ianson and Mrs, Beare read selections of Scripture followed by Prayer by Mrs. Harris. Mrs. Ander son read an article entitled The Advent. The offering $18.16 was received and dedicated. Hymn 132 was sung. Mrs. Harris assisted by the group members, introduced the first phase of the Study Book on Brazil using a map, pamphlets and serviettes to illustrated her |, address. 'Mrs. Robert Leask presided for the business meeting due to the absence of President Mrs. Phoenix welcoming the ladies present and thanking the group in charge. The roll call was answered with an item suitable for the layette of the bale. Minutes were adopted as read by Mrs. Spencer, secretary. Mrs. Couves showed a balance of $394.25 in the treasury. Mrs. Beare read an, article on Pre- judice for the Citizenship re- port. The leak in the gas stove was to be fixed at a cost of $4. Mrs, Roy Leask reported for the nominating committee whose duty it was to secure officers for 1965. {President--Mrs. H.
