Hill In St. John's Church, Sunday Aug. 2nd a dedication service was held for two cruets for Communion, which were donat- ed by Mr, Clare Evans Wilson, in memory of his wife Beatrice Irene Wilson, who passed away very suddenly last fall. The Anglican ladies held a very successful bake sale at Caesarea Saturday. In the United Church, Aug. 2nd, Mrs. Harold McLaughlin sang a solo "How Lovely are Thy Dwellings. Rev. Romeril's sermon was from the text "Be Still and know that I am God". Very interesting open ses- sions of Sunday School are be ing held in the United 'Church this summer. Aug. 2nd tha Adults went to the basement after the opening exercises and saw a film "Decision Saturday" while the younger members heard a tape of the Explorer Story--"The Golden Coin". Mr. Len Carson, Kingston and Miss Sandra Scholfield, Toronto and a friend had lunch Sunday with Rev. and Mrs, P. Romeril & Dennis. Miss Schol- field and Mr. Carson conducted the services at Nestleton and Cadmus Sunday morning and are to take the services at Blackstock and Caesarea Sun- day, Aug. 9th. Both these young people are students from Kingston University. It is to be hoped all the young people especially will avail themselves of the opportunity of hearing these young students. Glad to report Mrs. Edna McLaughlin home from Osha- wa hospital and Mr. Gardham Trewin from Port Perry hos- pital. Mr. and Mrs. Jack Berry, Oakville were Wednesday guests of Mr. and Mrs. Gordon Paisley. Mr. and Mrs. Walton Larmer, Virginia, U.S.A., spent a coup- le of days with Mr. and Mrs. Ernest Larmer, On Thursday several of the Larmer relatives dropped in for a little visit with them. Mrs. Wm. VanCamp and Miss Mable Van Camp returned Monday, July 27th from a pleasant trip to the West coast. Mr. and Mrs. Wilbur Vance, Port Perry, visited Mr, Dalton and Miss Hazel English Wed- nesday. Mr. and Mrs. Lloyd Wright spent Tuesday and Wednesday touring various places of inter- est in and around Ottawa, Don visited the Bill Fergusons; Les- lie Ann; the Garnet Wrights; Cheryl; Mrs. Cecil Hill and Harold; the Walter Wrights. Mr. Vine Cain, Toronto spent the week-end with Mr. and Mrs. Ed Harris. Mr. and Mrs. Terwillegar and Mr. Russel Spinks, Oshawa; Mr. Charles Coombe and niece Thelma of Prince Albert visited Mrs, E.
