The United Church picnic was | held at Cartwright Park, Caes- area on Thursday, June 25th. Due to so much sickness and men very busy at haying, the crowd was not as large as usual but still there was a very good attendance. Several arrived in time for swimming. A bounti- ful supper by the lake shore was thoroughly enjoyed. This topped off with water melon and ice cream. Then all moved up to the clearance at top of the hill where the following races and contests were enjoyed: Nursery Class race -- Darcy Dorrell.
