McNeil is improving very nicely in Hospital and will ' probably be home during the week-end, Miss Rosemary Nodwell en- Joyed playing the bagpipes at the St. Andrew's Day celebra- tion, at the Union Hall, in Osh- awa. Mesdames R, Reynolds, O. J. | Boe, Clifford Short, Garfield Stone, and H, Eagleson attend- ed the Annual meeting of Lind- say Presbyterial United Church Women, at Beaverton United Church. Switzer, 60, a pharmacist with G. Tamb- lyn Ltd. for 40 years, who died Friday at his Oriole Parkway home, Toronto. Mm. Switzer, born in Port Perry, was a gra. duate of the University of Tor- onto School of Pharmacy ie was a charter member of the Eglinton Rotary Club and a member of Glenview Presby- terian Church. He leaves his | wife, the former Gladys Roy; a daughter, Linda; a brother Fred; and six sisters, Mrs. Mel- va Bickell, Mrs. Andrew Law- rence and Mrs. Jack Gray of Port Perry, Mrs. Albert Single- ton of Windsor, Mrs. Glenn Willson of Oakville and Mrs. Victor Baker of Oshawa. - WILLIAM FLEMING THOMPSON The death of William. Flem- ing Thompson, of Nestleton, oc- curred Friday, Jan. 30th, in Oshawa General Hospital. . Mr. Thompson was in his 93rd year, Born in Cartwright Township, "Ont., June 2, 1871, Mr. Thomp- son married the late Eunica PORT PERRY STAR, THURS. FEB. 6th, 1964--15 Marlow, March 27, 1907. Mr. Thompson leaves three sons, Marlow and Stuart, of Nestleton, and Hector, of Osh- awa; one daughter, Mrs. N. Rohrer, of Cadmus, and five grandchildren. He was resting at the Mec- Dermott - Panabaker Funeral Home, Port Perry, for a mem- orial service in the chapel at 2 p.m., Monday, Feb. 8. Inter- ment was in Union Cemetery, Cadmus. County P.C.'s Will Honour Represenatives AJAX (Special) -- Ontario County Conservatives are plan- ning a major dinner for the end of February it was announced this week. The various P-C as- sociations of the area are get- ting together to pay tribute to our parliamentary representa- tives, At the present time, Ontario County is unique in Ontario in having complete Conservative representation in each of the Canadian Senate, the House of Commons and the provincial Legislature. Hen, Allister Grosart, Sena- tor from 'Pickering; Hon. Mi- chael Starr, M.P. for Ontario Riding; Hon. Matt Dymond, M.P.P. for Ontario Riding; and Ab. The testimonial dinner will be held in the Ajax Community Centre on Saturday evening, February 29.
