In the absence of our new president, Mrs. Eldean Rodd, the vice-president was in charge of the meeting. The theme of the devotional was The New Year. The roll call was an- swered by word new. The secretary's report was given also corresponding secre- tary reported on.cards sent and several thank you cards were read from the Christmas boxes. The treasurer also reported showing a good balance to start the new year. Several items of business was discussed. The ladies offered again to help out with the care- taking of the church. The meeting adjourned with all repeating the Mizpah and a social get together followed with a delicious lunch served by the hostess. Thanks was expressed to Mrs. Nottingham for her hos- pitality. On Jan. 12 the Official Board meeting took place in the church at 3 p.m. with Rev. Mr. Brooklin, supervising pastor, was in charge when all reports were received. On Jan. 19th the Congrega tional meeting will take pl at the same hour, at which m- munion will be served.
