Harris died in Osh- awa General Hospital. He had been a patient there for nearly seven weeks. Mr.. Harris was born in Unionville in 1895 and was the only child of Thomas Harris and his wife the former Mary Wood. He lived in Oshawa for awhil d at Cedar Creek for about 60 years on his grand-| father, Gilbert~Wood's farm. : He was married twice. His) first wife, Fanny Fitze died in| December 1953 and he married "Mrs, Mary MacRae_in June of 1955. He is survived by his wife and five stepchildren and 10 stepgrandchildren. He was employed by General Motors, Oshawa, for a number of years. He was a member of the Purple Hill Branch of the Loyal Orange Lodge. He was a member of Burns Presbyter-| jan Church, Ashburn, and had atended St. John's Presbyterian Church, Port Perry, the last: few years. Funeral services were con- ducted by his minister;-the-Rev. H. M. Buntain, B.A, at the McDermott Panabaker Chapel on Tuesday afternoon. Inter- ment was in his family plot in Pine Grove Cemetery.
