Building Construction goes on in Port Perry in spite of the winter weather. In the abave 'pictures is the Odd Fellows Hall nearing completion. The hall is situated on the Oshawa Road just outside of the village limits.....In the centre picture is the new Baptist Church which is situated on the corner of Queen and Rosa Streets, and is also nearing completion on the outside. Considerable work is still to be done on the interior of the building. In the bottom photo is the begining of what will be the new fire hall....At present only the foundation is near completion. The building when finished will be 40 feet by 48 feet and will be able to house three fire trucks. The village has only two trucks housed in the oM fire hall, of ° which one belongs to Reach Township. When the 'hall is . finished these two trucks will be transferred to the new hall, and the third stall will be used for a meeting room.
