The Cart- wright, Volunteer Fire Brigade were present en masse requesting informa- tion re their Municipal Grant and pre- sénted a Bill for Maintenance to their hall and equipment Totalling $402.85. Council on motion approved payment of half of their grant of $1,000.00. Correspondence from the Dept. of Highways requesting approval of a new bridge construction on Eastcross (Cadmus) Creek at 7A Highway but approximately 100 ft. further south was approved. + A letter from: Mrs. Vera MacDonald nee Bruce of British Columbia 'who was visiting relatives in Caesarea, requesting permission to change the name of the Cantwright Community Park to Bruce Memorial Park since that propetty had for many years been owned by the Bruce family and had been deeded to them from the Crown.
