Seagrave The February meeting of the W.A. was held in the church parlors on Wednesday evening, Feb. 12th with the ladies from Zion and Pleasant Point as our guests. The worship ser- was in charge of the north group with Mrs. McNeil in charge. Singing of "O Master Let Me Walk with Thee" opened the meeting with Mrs. G. Stone leading in prayer. Scripture was read by Mrs. Geisel. The topic was taken by Mrs. Jacobs of Zion who gave a very interesting talk on Matt. 5:41, And whosoever shall compel Thee to go a mile go with him twain. Hymn, "0 Jesus I have Promised" closed the The president, Mrs. Keen opened the business part of the meeting with a'short prayer and then welcomed all ladies present, especially our visitors. Minutes of last meeeting were read and approved. Seven ladies paid their membership fee and roll call -taken-- 21 present. Collection of $8.95 was received and penny offering of $1.84 taken. The north group turned in $12.00 and treasurer Mrs. Reynolds reported $281.00 on hand. Corre- sponding Secretary Mrs. Tait read several thank you notes for fruit re- ceived. - Mrs. B. Wanamaker reported that the table top for the cupboard had been finished, that arborite had been chosen and the final bill hadn't been received. Mrs, Nodwell reported. for the committee on the choir party which was to take place Saturday evening, Feb. 16.
