Lynda Kyte and Elizabeth Thompson sang "When He Cometh." Mrs: Harold Martyn read a poem "I Know Something Good - About You," and conducted a "Pass the Compli- ment" contest. Lunch was served and a half hour spent by the twenty-nine ladies and 21 children present. The August meeting of the Black- stock Women's Institute was held at the Cream of Barley Camp near Bow- manville. There were 18 ladies and 19 children present. Business consist- ed of plan for a float for Blackstock Fair, and an exhibit for Orono Fair. Six of the resolutions for the fall con- vention were discussed and voted on. Arrangement were made for our W.I, to visit Solina W.I. on August 9th, Mrs. W. Archer gave current events. The program consisted of games and races for the children. Winners were: children 6 and under, Leanne Dorrell and Lynda Mountjoy; 6-10, Me -garet Saywell and Nancy Dorrell; 10-15, Frances Staniland and Aileen Van- Camp; three-legged race, Aileen Van- Camp and Sharon Woodward; Lucky number, Mrs. Ivan Mountjoy and Mrs. W. Archer; lucky spot, Mrs. Wilson; sore toe race, Nancy Staniland and] Sharon Cook. Sandwiches, Cookies and Ice Cream were served. On Thursday, 'August 2nd, Mrs. N.
