All repeated the M.B. purpose and "The Good Samaritan". Mrs, Hill gave a talk on "Friendship & Love. Linda Kyte took up offering and Lor- raine Dayes said the prayer. Mrs. R. Taylor told the story "A Friend For Fig Tree Village". Bonnie Saywell read "In India to-day". Nancy Hutton and Carol Rahm sang '"The Bunnie". Doris Griffin read "Larry the Bunnie". Meeting closed by Hymn and Benedic- tion, The United Church W.A. Bazaar on Tuesday was considered very success- ful. Mrs. Stephen Saywell, Oshawa fairly well attended. Mrs. Lawrence Malcolm, Nestleton, ! rendered two delightful solos, after which the bazaar was opened and af- ternoon tea served. Remembrance Day service in the hall and at cenotaph Thurs, a.m. was Rev. Hutton conducted the service and Rev. Nichol- son gave a splendid address. Reeve Wes. Sweet read the names on monu- ment and Mrs. Jno. Carter, Burketon placed the wreath. Splendid anniversary services were held in the United Church Sunday. In the a.m. Rev. Fred Jackson, Tyrone gave a very fine sermon on the sub- ject "How Big a God". The home choir rendered two nice Anthems, In the evening Rev, Arthur Morgan of Trinity church Bowmanville gave another very thoughtful and inspiring sermon, Subject--The Fellowship of Believers. Port Perry Intermediate choir furnished fine music. : Mr. and Mrs. Cecil Neals and fa- mily, Peterboro visited Mrs. Jno. Mec- Kee Sunday. . 'Mr, and Mrs. W. M. Henry Toronto, Mr. and Mrs. Rupt. Byers, Mrs. Earl McQuade and Miss Betty McQuade were recent visitors with Mrs. Jas. Mrs. Ross Curtis, Orillia visited her mother Mrs. Robt. Bruce and the Strong's. Mrs. Mark Weldon Uxbridge with Mr. and Mrs, Jas. Parr Tuesday and attended the bazaar. Mrs. Oakley Carley and Mrs. Tinney of Cavan with Mrs. Clarence Marlow. Rev. and Mrs. Fred .Jackson and Jno, Tyrone were dinner guests of the Rev. Hutton's. Rev. Hutton took the services at Tyrone, Caesarea and Bowmanville Trinity on Sunday, Mr. and Mrs. Thos. Smith spent the week-end in Toronto, Mr. and Mrs. Theodore Watson of Norland visited the Earl and Ray Bradburn's and Will Forder's Sunday. Mr. and Mrs. Stan Rahm, Paul and "Carol with Mr. and Mrs. Art Rahm, Tyrone on Sunday. A bumper attendance and fine time was had at the O.N.O. dance Friday night. Following were prize winners: Door prize--Miss Yvonne Chant. Lucky Spot--Miss Elaine Thompson and Mr. Neil Bailey. Special prize of a Boquet of mums donated by Enniskillen Florist on Henry. Music was provided by the Brice Brown Orchestra. The High School chartered a bus and a load of the pupils went to Tor- onto<Sat. and took in the Royal Fair and other attractions. } A'good many from this vielnity have attended the Royal this year and some were up to see Santa Claus parade. Gibson, Toronto called on friends in vicinity Sunday. There were 14 tables of euchre at the Farmers' Union- Party Thursday night. Mrs, Thos.
