At that time the following men were elected to the Executive, President--Grant MacDonald 1st Vice-President--Lou Burnett 2nd Vice-President--Art Cox Director--LeRoy Till Treasurer--Bob Harper Secretary--Howard Hall Since then the Curling Club has made two public proclamations for members in the newspaper and posted nformation sheets in various parts of the community, The membership quota was set at 100 and is nearly complete, The curling club executive and the Board of Directors of the Port Perry Community Memorial Arena came to an agreement that the arena be rented to the curlers for twenty Wednesdays.
