An impressive White Gift Service was held in our Sunday School on Sun- day afternoon. The gifts of the chil- hren, consisting mainly- of canned goods, were delivered to the Fred fully received. These gifts are used to help make up baskets for some of the needy in Toronto. The gifts i pra lars, will be forwarded to the Oyerseas Mission Board of the United Church, to be used to help in the relief of suffering in such countries -as Korea, India and West Germany. Our annual Sunday School meeting will be held in the Sunday School room on Friday, Jan. 2, 1953. All mémbers of the Sunday School and everyone i in- terested in our work are cordially in- vited to attend. Next year we are anticipating hav- ing two of the finest anniversary ser- vices in the history of our church. On the second Sunday in June, at our Sun- 'day. School anniversary, Professor Kingsley Joblin, son of our beloved Rev. Fred Joblin, will be our guest speaker. Then, on the second Sun- day in September, at our Church An- niversary services, the Rev. E. Harold Toye, of Toronto, will be the speaker. In the evening, at 7.80, Rev. James Finlay, of Carleton St. United Church, will be our.guest minister, - «Last Sunday evening it was the pleasure of Mrs. G. Luke, Mrs, R. H. McKerihen, Mr. A. Bond and Mr. M. K. Luke to be in attendance at the pa- geant, "Unto Us is Born a Saviour," presented by Carleton St. United Church in the beautiful Odean Theatre in Toronto. : : held in the church last Friday evening, and was well attended.
