The hymn; "Come let us sing of a 'Wotiderful Love" was sung and Mrs, Wagner lead in prayer, There were 19 members present and 12 visitors, Collection $8.91,. Several itents of. business were discussed. The ladies decided to hold a supper on September bth, following the anniversary, service "on August 31st. Rev. The program was opened by. Mr. A. J. Gill, Assistant Agritultural Repre- sentative, who demonstrated the points to look for in the ideal 'type dairy animal on one of Mr, Hogg's heifers. The club members then. had the op- portunity to judge two classes of Holstein cattle, The first class, a officially by Mr. Duncan McTavish who placing. In the final class, two year old heifers in milk, each club member was called upon to give his or her réa- sons for placing the class. took charge of this part of the pro- gram and summed up by judging the class with reasons, The Junior Club then - adjourned after the roll ¢dll" was taken .by Mr. Milton Cornish, Club leader; * "A discussion on the feeding and management of the show calf follow- ed for the senior members, and some interesting points were brought up.
